Our story

In 1993, “COM NICO SERV SRL”, company with 100% Romanian investment, was founded. At the beginning it had as main activity spare parts, consumables and car accessories trade. The company was situated on 351 Chitila road and it had a shop and a warehouse.

In 1994, the company opened two other warehouses (Ilfov, Stefanesti and within the precincts of Comat Warehouse – Timisoara Blvd.). Meanwhile, a new shop was opened in Laminorului Street.

In 1995, new outlets were opened in Bacau, Cluj, Constanta, Drobeta Turnu Severin, Iasi, Satu-Mare, Sibiu, Suceava, Timisoara in order to develop a national distributing network. Later on some of these shops were replaced by salesmen who facilitated a better direct contact with the customers to make the activity of distribution more efficient.

In the same year, a new and modern headquarters and warehouse was inaugurated in Bucharest, on 5-6 Cascadelor Street, Sector 6.

In 1996, as a result of our experience in auto field, our company extended its activity, and it became also a repair and maintenance for vehicles provider. A workshop was opened in Bucharest on Ion Ionescu Street, Brad Sector 1 and it activated in this location for 4 years.

1999 was an year characterized by a great development. SC COM NICO SERV S.R.L. We purchased a new land on 594 Iuliu Maniu Blvd, Sector 6, Bucharest and established a modern workshop with professional equipment and well trained personnel for offering all the technical support, in order to meet the customer’s expectations

In 2000 to increase efficiency, the activity of selling and distributing was focused on this new location - 594 Iuliu Maniu Blvd which became the headquarters of the company in the same year. Here was also built the main warehouse (1500 m)

In 2001 COM NICO SERV’s development continued and a new complex (1800m) formed of a truck repairing workshop, a plate shop and a dye-house was opened.

In 2003 we inaugurated Sunset Hotel, an elegant center with an accommodation capacity of 26 rooms and 3 apartments, lobby bar and restaurant. Sunset Hotel was created both for businessmen and for tourists. It can provide you everything you need for a relaxed stay in Bucharest: quality accommodation and restaurant services (traditional and international cuisine), rent-a-car service, Bucharest tours assisted by professional guides and transportation to/from the airport.

In 2005, new outlets were opened in Timisoara and Brasov(spare parts and tyre shops).

In 2006, because of the increasing demand of tyres, we extended our product range and now we can offer you truck tyres such as Continental, Michelin and Kormoran. In the same year we also inaugurated a new spare parts and tyres shop in Cluj and we equipped the fitting points in Brasov and Cluj with high quality machines so that they can provide fitting services for trucks as well.
